These three trash-bag wearing weirdos combine clown, avant-garde theater and drama therapy into a dramatic soup that can only be described as “high art meets low bullshit” (Second City NY). Finally, an improv show that will make you want to go to jury duty! “The Trial” improvises a tense courtroom trial right before your eyes — from dramatic opening statements to thrilling verdict.
The first half of the show is a “Spokane” form in the courtroom; we flash back-and-forth in time from the courtroom to the events pertinent to the trial, all the while “seeing” testimony, witnesses, and evidence along the way.
The second half of the show is a Monoscene taking place during deliberations as a jury decides the fate of the accused.
